We have always looked for ways to engage my kids in fun, hands-on activities while reducing their screen time. We chose colours as our main medium, because I strongly believe they help anyone express their feelings. For children, colours support sensory development, self-expression, creativity, and imagination.
We initially started with other brands and continued using them even though we knew they were not entirely safe or kid-friendly, simply because we were not aware of Dabble.
We first came across Dabble paints on Instagram when they were featured on Shark Tank, but we did not pay much attention then. Later, a friend recommended Dabble as a brand of kid-friendly, non-toxic paints, and we realised we have seen it before.
We decided to try it, and absolutely loved it. We got our first Dabble kit in 2022 for my elder child, and my son loved it. He was never very interested in crayons, but he instantly connected with paints. As he began to enjoy painting, we also noticed how it helped him express his feelings through art.
Today, he is an artist in his own way, having created multiple masterpieces by the age of six. Some of those were made using other colours too, because he enjoys shiny paints, but I can definitely say that Dabble is what first ignited his passion for art.
My younger child also started exploring colours when she turned one, and now we have a big box of art supplies at home—Dabble colours, Dabble roll, crayons, Dabble bubbles, and Dabble paintbrushes—that we regularly stock and restock every month.
In 2024, we became part of the Dabble community after attending one of their events. Since then, we have participated in three Dabble events and am already planning to attend the next one.
This is our Dabble journey.
