From Cute Little Crayons to Colourful Floors: Our Dabble Journey 💛

When my little one was around 1.5 years old, I wanted to introduce her to drawing and colouring. I was looking for colours that were safe for her little hands and curious nature, and that’s when I came across Dabble’s organic beeswax crayons.

Honestly, when I first introduced them to her, she thought they were toys! She loved stacking them and playing with their adorable shapes — little teddy bears, cars, worms, and more. And, of course, being a toddler, she had to give one a little bite, too! 😄 Knowing that the crayons are made with organic beeswax and baby-safe ingredients gave me greater peace of mind as she explored them.

Now that she’s two, her relationship with these crayons has evolved. From stacking them to colouring with them, she absolutely loves her little art sessions. Well, if I’m being honest, her favourite canvas is sometimes the floor! 😆

What I love most about Dabble crayons is how cute they look and how vibrant their colours are.* I’ve tried other baby-safe colours, but I found that they weren’t as bright as Dabble’s. The beautiful colours and smooth texture seem to inspire my little one to reach for them more often, and I love seeing her enjoy colouring in her own little way.

Another thing I truly appreciate is how easily they fit into our daily routine. I often use colouring as an alternative to screen time. Once she gets immersed in her little world of colours, she can stay happily occupied while I finish a meeting or take care of a few things. It’s a win-win for both of us!

And the best part? When her creativity inevitably makes its way onto the floor, cleaning up is surprisingly easy with a wet cloth. A little less stress for me and a lot more colourful fun for her!

Looking back, it’s lovely to see how something that started as a way to introduce drawing and painting has become one of her favourite activities. Watching her explore, experiment, and express herself through colours has been such a joy.

For us, Dabble has become more than just crayons. It’s a little way to encourage creativity, make room for screen-free moments, and let my little one discover the world one colourful stroke at a time. 💛🎨

And yes, our floors might be getting more artistic by the day — but I wouldn’t have it any other way! 😄
