Is this clay safe for my child? Yes. It’s made with food-grade ingredients like cornstarch, arrowroot powder, maida and coconut oil — non-toxic and child-safe for creative play. It’s not edible, though, so adult supervision is recommended.

What age is this kit suitable for? Designed for children 3 years and above, with an adult joining in for the immersion step. 

Can this Ganesha be immersed at home? Yes — the clay is water-soluble, so the Ganesha your child makes can be immersed at home safely, and the water can be used to water your plants afterward.

Does the kit include paints and tools, or do I need to buy them separately? It’s an all-in-one kit — 150 g modelling clay, 3 washable paints, glue, paintbrush, Maker’s Play Guide, ice cream stick, pipe cleaner and a rangoli art sheet are all included.

Will the clay dry out or crack? It’s an air-dry clay designed to hold its shape once sculpted. Following the Maker’s Play Guide’s shape sizes helps avoid cracking as it dries.

Can I keep the Ganesha instead of immersing it? Yes — many families choose to keep their handmade Ganesha as a keepsake rather than immerse it.

Is this a mess-free activity? It’s a hands-on sensory activity, so some mess is part of the fun. The clay is easy to clean up and doesn’t stain like traditional wet clay.

What if my child has never sculpted before? The Maker’s Play Guide walks through Ganesha-making in simple, step-by-step shapes, so no prior experience is needed.

How long does it take to dry Ganesha before painting? Allow the modelling clay to dry for 30–45 minutes before painting. The paints take approximately 10–20 minutes to dry on the Ganesha. 

Can children paint the white clay? Yes. The white clay can be painted and personalised in different colours, allowing every child to create their own unique Ganesha. 

Is the Dabble clay eco-friendly and water-soluble? Yes. Dabble clay is water-soluble and eco-friendly, making it suitable for simple home immersion after the festival. 

What can children do with the packaging?The packaging becomes part of the activity! Children can cut and colour it to create their own Ganesha Stage Decor for their handmade Ganesha.
