What age is the DIY Bake Your Own Rakhi Kit for?

The DIY Bake Your Own Rakhi Kit is designed for children aged 3+ years. It’s a fun way for children to take part in the Rakhi tradition by making something with their own hands, baking it, and then keeping it as a fridge magnet instead of letting the rakhi get lost after the celebration. It also gently introduces children to the idea of sustainability—making, keeping, and giving things a longer life.

How do I bake the playdough creation?

Microwave:

• Preheat the microwave to 120°C for 2 minutes.
• Bake the creation at 180°C for 2 minutes.
• Allow it to cool completely before handling.

OTG Oven:

• Preheat the OTG to 180°C for 8 minutes, with the tray placed in the lower section.
• Place parchment paper on the tray and bake the creation at 180°C for 10 minutes.
• Carefully remove the tray and allow the creation to dry at room temperature for 12 hours.

Important: Baking must be done by an adult only. Children should never operate the oven, microwave, or handle hot trays.

Note: Baked creations are for display only and are not edible.

Is the playdough edible?

No. The playdough is not edible and should not be consumed.

Is the playdough safe for my child?

Yes. Dabble bakeable playdough is made with 100% natural, gluten-free and toxin-free ingredients. It is gentle on little hands and sensitive skin, with no synthetic dyes or harmful chemicals.

What if the playdough dries out before baking?

Don't worry! Try our Revival Hack:

Soak → Mash → Heat to 60°C → Mash with coconut oil

This helps bring the playdough back to a soft, workable texture. The Revival Hack is not applicable after the creation has been baked.

How long does the fridge magnet creation last?

The baked fridge magnet creation is best used within 3 months of baking. Keep it away from moisture and direct sunlight to help it last longer.

Does the playdough have an expiry date?

Yes. The playdough has a shelf life of 6 months from the date of manufacturing.
